About Us

Our mission is to provide care, education and hope for the future of HIV affected orphaned children and their guardians.

Child  welfare  foundation  has a desire for caring and developing our society by establishing and delivering services of Education, Health, Social welfare and economic improvement among disadvantaged orphans and widows.

We advocate and care by establishing community support and health awareness.

We provide affordable primary health care and education to the children within the community.

We provide scholastics and other school necessities .

We provide holistic training, counseling and education in respect of HIV/Aids and drug abuse.

We promote developmental projects among widows for sustainability. This entails empowering them to generate incomes for their businesses.

We help families improve their living conditions by building them low cost shelters.

The Office

Located in the Jinja area. It has good hard working people who take care of issues regarding children and guardians.

The Director

This is a dedicated person who tirelessly work hard to see that the vision of helping out the orphans is fulfilled. He uses the expertise and experience he received while working with Children for a long time.  It is with this compassion that he commits himself to the cause, a need to reach out to more orphans. The more  orphans and guardians'  issues well addressed and fully handled, the better for development of society.

Therefore, it is within this scope that he affirms to solve societal concerns.

Welfare Officers

These  two hard working staff a female and male  have a love for the Ministry of working for the children, they are obsessed with children. So, we applaud their willingness to work tirelessly for the children and widows So from 2001, CWF is a fully fledged independent organization with headquarters  in Kamuil   a town in near eastern Uganda, about two hours away from Kampala the capital of Uganda.

cwf  now works in the:

    •  Provision of formal education for orphans and vulnerable children,

    •  Empowering widows financially and psychosocially,

    •  Sensitizing communities about HIV/AIDS,

    •  Providing mobile palliative care for people living with AIDS (PLWA),

    •  Fighting poverty through pursuing income generating activities,

    •  And spreading the word of a caring God

CWF  is a pro-life giving ministry whose mission and mandate is to uphold the sanctity of human life by endeavouring to meet the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of orphaned children and widows.
